Charitable Work |
|
At lodge SGC 617 we try to do a lot for local and national charitable organizations through various fundraising events. Over the years we have managed to raise a significant amount of money but we couldn’t do it without the continued support of generous local business and the dedication of the lodge brethren. |

Lodge SGC 617 Race Night
Thanks to the donations from our sponsors, brethren and our visitors we raised our target of £500.00!
The money raised was split between the Erskine Hospital (www.erskine.org.uk) & Cosgrove www.cosgrove.co.uk. The photo’s below - Presenting a cheque for £250 to Cosgrove’s Dougie Johnston (care worker) and Ciaran McGarvie. They really enjoyed the driving experience arranged by the Lodge.

Well Done Bro. Willie Hamilton
Bro. Willie makes a regular collection for Scottish Masonic homes in his now famous “Black Bag” He circulates during our harmonies, puts on his “begging face”, shakes his black bag, and asks for a few coppers. Last month Willie donated £93 he had collected.
(Yes I know I have shown a green bag Willie does not allow anyone else to use his Black Bag) |
